A few weeks ago I shared with you a brand new prototype mitten from TurtleGloves. Last year, I had the opportunity to try out a pair of their fleece flip mittens and LOVED them, so I was excited for the opportunity to try out this new style!! 
These are a flip mitten that is made out of a PolarTek fabric that is wind and water resistant, perfect for those wet, windy chilly fall or early winter days that were upon us. It was like they timed the delivery of these mittens at the perfect time! Just 2 days after I received my mittens I was heading out on the trial for a walk with some of the ladies in my running group. I grabbed my gloves and my coffee and we hit the trail!
This particular morning is was about 30 degrees and there always seems to be a cold breeze off the river! Even tho the fabric on these gloves is a lightweight fabric, they definitely block the wind and cold. My fingers and hand never felt cold!
One of my favorite things about TurtleGloves is that I can gain access to my fingers in just a matter of a few seconds. When I am out on the trail, out for a run or hanging out with my friends, I tend to take A LOT of pictures. Several of my friends have admitted that they never worry about pics, because they know I will have enough to share. More often than not, when it’s cold outside, I find myself taking a few less pictures than usual because I don’t want to have to take my gloves or mittens off.
