This post is the 1st in a 2 part series about the 2 different pairs of sunglasses that I received from Knockaround. I was able to pick out 2 pairs of sunglasses – 1 pair for run, 1 pair to run… but I’ll be honest with you, I loved them both so much, I used them interchangeably!
I won’t deny it, I’m a sucker for sunglasses! With all the time that I spend outside, I usually have at least 1 pair with me (one on my head and a spare in my car or in my bag)
But I also will be the 1st to admit that I am both hard on sunglasses… and have a tendency to lose them! In fact, the sunglasses I had before these ones ended up missing in action… just in time for my Knockarounds to arrive (maybe it was fate!). Because of both of these reason, I don’t like to spend a lot on sunglasses. You will never find my buying a $200 pair of shades from some of those big name companies out there (I have better things to throw my money away on, like race registrations and shoes!)
Then I discovered Knockaround!
I fell in love with them when I was doing some reading on the website…

The first pair I’m sharing with you are the Indigo Sky Mai Tai’s! When I saw these, I knew I HAD to have them! I love anything purple and the amazing colors in these really grabbed me! I honestly figured these would be my “for fun” ones… but the 1st time I wore them, was out for a run because I couldn’t wait to wear them!
I selected the polarized option and was really surprised at the price! $25 for durable, polarized sunglasses! Plus they come in fun colors – including fun lens colors!
As I mentioned, Knockaround prides themselves on being a quality, DURABLE product and so far I have ZERO complaints! I took these sunglasses on 2 different adventures. One to Colorado and one to Michigan/Minnesota. During those trips, they were with me for hiking in the mountains, plane rides (and getting shoved in my bag when I wasn’t wearing them), running along the lakeshore, getting buried in the suitcase and tossed around in my backpack. Oh yeah, they even joined me on a fun little run with Jared Ward!
They never let me down!

Lenses aren’t scratched
and I have not lost them yet!!
