It’s no secret, I love my Aftershokz headphones! A few years ago, I received a pair and it brought the music back to my run. I could have my music and still hear everything going on around me (like traffic and crazy dogs, or just crazy people LOL), plus I could still carry on a conversation with whoever I was running with – especially on race day!
When I was approached with the opportunity to test out the newest Aeropex headphones, I was excited! I had heard many good things about the enhancements to the headphones and who doesn’t like new running accessories!
What makes these headphones my favorite? There are several things!
The open air design of all of their headphones is a huge win for me. These headphone don’t go in or over your ear! The patented bone conducting technology allows you to have total awareness around you and still listen to your music, audiobooks, or even phone conversations! Plus, I have ears that most in ear headphones tend to fall out of! So this is a double win!
With this new Aeropex design, the re-engineered brings even better stereo sound deeper bass, less vibration and louder volumes. This was a huge plus for me as I often found myself turning the volume up even higher to get the sound that I wanted and that sometimes distorted the sound or made it necessary to adjust bass etc. No need to do that anymore! Clear sound at any volume!
Plus with these bad boys, I can get 8 full hours of music, phone calls or whatever I need. Now, it’s not that often that I need that many hours in a row, as my longer runs are usually not more than a few hours. This does mean that I don’g have to charge them as often! Throwing them on the charger once a week is usually enough to keep me going.
